Martin Syms International Head of BlackRock's Aladdin Engineering Group

Martin C. Syms, Managing Director, is the International Head of BlackRock's Aladdin Engineering Group. His responsibilities include strategic delivery of Aladdin to the firm in EMEA and APAC. He also represents Aladdin Engineering with Aladdin Clients, BLK Asset Management Clients, and Regulators.

He also plays a strategic advisory role for tech talent globally. Mr Syms service with the firm dates back to 2000, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. He is an accomplished engineering leader and has led large global engineering verticals to build core capabilities in Aladdin. Mr Syms is also a very experienced enterprise leader and has also held several strategic transformational roles.
