Jonathan Graham is a Group Managing Director and member of the Executive Team for Swiss Re Life & Health.
Jonathan runs a division focusing on:
- financial market transactions to generate fee-like earnings, portfolio management and FM Solutions,
- optimisation of the In-force L&H portfolio leveraging analytics, portfolio actions and In-force solutions,
- Quantitative Analytics providing analytical services across L&H and the Group.
He joined Swiss Re in 2005 as Head of European Rates Trading for Swiss Re Asset Management and became head of pricing and trading for Capital Market Insurance solutions (CMIS) in 2008.
In 2011, Jonathan joined the Swiss Re Life Capital business unit as Head of Pricing, Portfolio management and Asset Management and joined the LC Executive team as the CIO for Life Capital.
In 2013, Jonathan returned to Swiss Re Asset Management, to Head the newly formed Financial Markets and Analytics department & as CIO Reinsurance L&H. In 2018 he was appointed Co-Head Client Solutions & Analytics, with a focus on financial solutions and analytics. In 2020 he was additionally appointed CIO for Reinsurance.
Jonathan has a 26-year career in trading and managing complex structured products across a wide array of capital market and insurance asset classes. He holds a degree in Economics from Queens University Belfast and Msc. in Management from Oxford University.
