Grace Wong Former COO Life & Health Reinsurance COO L&H Reinsurance

Grace Wong is Chief Operating Officer for Swiss Re's Life & Health Reinsurance Business, where she oversees operations across the globe to ensure quality and efficiency. Before her current role, she served as the Head of Strategy & Operations for the Reinsurance Business in APAC, where she guided the business strategy and operations.

From 2013 to 2018, Grace was the Regional Head of Life & Health Business Management Asia, responsible for managing in-force business operations for Swiss Re's life and health portfolios. In 2012, she served as the Chief Risk Officer for Reinsurance APAC. Prior to relocating to Asia, Grace led the Life & Health Actuarial Control function, managing the economic valuation process at Swiss Re's corporate headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

Grace's experience prior to joining Swiss Re in 2006 includes holding actuarial and risk management positions in the primary life insurance sector in Canada, Japan, and the US. In Japan, as head of the Actuarial and Risk department of a newly acquired life insurance company, she was responsible for establishing the risk governance process and actuarial reporting infrastructure.
