About the Role

We are looking for a team member with a strategic mindset and deep understanding of the reinsurance value chain to lead the development, optimization, and vision for our Sales & Origination tools with a focus on our CRM tool. This role is critical in modernizing how our reinsurance sales teams engage with brokers, cedents, and internal stakeholders — streamlining origination processes and enabling data-driven decision-making. System & Process Specialist is the crucial interface between the business and IT focused on maximizing the value-add of our Sales & Origination tools. 

As the System & Process Specialist you will:

  • Shape the product vision and roadmap for Sales and Origination platform — including tools such as Sales Advisor, ReCOT, and other — in close collaboration with business teams and Origination Systems Lead
  • Prioritise and manage business requirements in alignment with strategic direction, ensuring the product backlog reflects the most valuable and impactful work
  • Oversee IT implementation, including planning, execution, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Act as a translator between business needs and technical possibilities, communicating complex concepts clearly and engagingly to non-expert audiences through compelling language and visual storytelling
  • Conduct product and market research to stay ahead of industry trends, benchmark against best practices, and explore innovative new product designs and enhancements
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships across business, IT, and leadership to align priorities and drive consensus
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering user feedback and data insights to continuously improve and iterate on product features

Origination Platforms & Analytics team is a dynamic group dedicated to empowering the business with cutting-edge sales and origination capabilities. The team owns and evolves a

portfolio of strategic platforms and tools that enable smarter, faster, and more effective commercial engagement across the organisation. Working at the crossroads of business strategy, data analytics, and technology, the team partners with stakeholders across the company to deliver solutions that make a real difference to how we originate and grow business.

About You

You are a curious, collaborative, and commercially minded professional who loves solving problems and making things happen. You bring a natural ability to connect the dots between business ambition and technical delivery, and you communicate with clarity and confidence. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and rallying people around a shared vision — always with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager (up to 5 years), preferably within the financial services industry, with a demonstrated track record of delivering objectives with a clear hands-on mentality
  • Solid experience working in Agile environments, with strong analytical skills in maintaining and prioritising a product backlog to maximise value delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to synchronise tasks, clarify requirements, and align delivery expectations across diverse audiences
  • Understanding of industry trends and client needs, with the ability to create compelling value propositions and a clear product vision
  • Knowledge of design thinking frameworks and customer journeys, with the ability to apply these to shape user-centric product solutions

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience with sales enablement or CRM platforms such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and platforms, and an appreciation for how data drives product decisions
  • Experience conducting market and product research, including competitive analysis and user research
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and the ability to contribute meaningfully to product design discussions

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 2 100 EUR and 3 400 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​

Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.

This role is a maternity cover.
