About the Role

As a Principal Solution Architect within Risk Data Solutions, you will be at the forefront of defining and delivering enterprise-wide architectural strategies that power business transformation. This is not just an architecture role — it is a strategic leadership position where your decisions will shape how technology evolves across the RDS organization. You will lead the charge in transitioning from traditional Azure-based SaaS solutions to AI-native platforms, setting the architectural north star and guiding cross-functional teams to bring that vision to life. Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overarching technical architecture vision, establishing enterprise-wide architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices that align technology with long-term business goals
  • Lead transformation initiatives from traditional Azure-based SaaS solutions to AI-native architectures, championing innovation and next-generation technology adoption
  • Craft high-level technology architectural strategies that bridge business objectives with technology capabilities, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and long-term value
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, developing and maintaining technology roadmaps that reflect both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Design and oversee the implementation of complex, large-scale solutions and platforms, ensuring architectural integrity across all phases of delivery
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions to ensure alignment of technology decisions with organizational goals and transformation priorities
  • Lead and mentor junior architects and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation
  • Assess technology needs and evaluate emerging trends, providing expert guidance on industry developments and their applicability to the organization's strategic direction
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and governance, ensuring architecture decisions are well-communicated, documented, and embedded across the enterprise
  • Ensure alignment of business processes and organizational structures with technology solutions, enabling efficient and effective delivery of business outcomes

We Are Looking for Candidates Who Meet These Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure stack, including hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale, cloud-native solutions and enterprise-grade architectures
  • Strong proficiency in .NET and C#, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, high-performance backend solutions at enterprise scale
  • Demonstrated experience in front-end engineering, with practical knowledge of modern frameworks such as Angular and/or React, enabling full-stack architectural oversight
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide architecture transformation initiatives, specifically transitioning from traditional SaaS-based platforms to AI-native solutions, with a strong understanding of AI/ML integration patterns and platforms
  • Extensive experience in strategic technology planning and stakeholder engagement, including the ability to develop technology roadmaps, govern architectural decisions, and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at the senior leadership level

These Are Additional Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, LLMs) and practical knowledge of integrating AI capabilities into enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery methodologies in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Exposure to risk management, financial services, or insurance domain knowledge, particularly in the context of data-driven solutions
  • Experience with microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems at enterprise scale
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and growing architecture practices, including establishing communities of practice and driving architectural governance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality architecture documentation, business cases, and executive presentations

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
