Group FP&A & Investor Relations is looking for a motivated Financial Analyst (Working Student) to join our team. Sitting at the centre of Swiss Re's financial planning, performance management and investor communication, we play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and shaping how Swiss Re is perceived by the investment community.
In this role, you will gain unique exposure to senior management and contribute to projects that directly influence strategic decision-making, financial markets communication and capital allocation. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Strategy, Treasury and the Business Units and develop a deep understanding of how a global financial services company is managed and valued. Key responsibilities
- Support financial performance analysis and reporting across Swiss Re's businesses, identifying key trends and business drivers
Support the preparation of presentations, reports and analyses for senior management, the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors
Play an active role in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial results materials, as well as Investor Day and other key investor events
Conduct research on financial markets, re/insurance industry trends, sell-side research, competitors and shareholder developments to provide senior management with external insights
Support the team's day-to-day operations by maintaining reporting materials, coordinating recurring processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal workflows through the use of analytics and AI
About the Team
Group FP&A & Investor Relations sits at the centre of Swiss Re's financial and strategic decision-making process. Our work combines financial analysis, corporate strategy, capital management and capital markets communication.

About you
Bachelor's degree (completed or close to completion) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
Strong analytical mindset
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international environment
High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
Further information about the role
This is a working student position (50-80%) with a fixed-term contract of 12 months with the option to extend. High-performing candidates may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role and continue their career at Swiss Re.
