About the event

The ongoing crisis in Ukraine is having far reaching consequences in the global economy and raising significant questions about global security. Whilst international organisations are striving to take the necessary measures to de-escalate the conflict and prevent a humanitarian crisis, its ramifications have raised global uncertainty to a new level.

To better understand the implications for the global economy and society, we would like to invite you to a high-level debate with special guest John Brennan, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and Jerome Haegeli, Swiss Re's Group Chief Economist. From the impact on energy markets and the financial system, to elevated security and cyber risks, our guest speakers will provide key perspectives on the Ukraine crisis and the ensuing global response.
