Engineering for Insurance Professionals

About the course

In this blended training course for insurance professionals, participants will acquire valuable engineering insurance knowledge during the introductory training (virtual).

During the advanced training (in person), participants will deepen their underwriting competences in project insurance and will learn about more specific risks and covers in and around engineering insurance.

Modular form of the training

As the blended training setup is modular, participants have the possibility to target different levels of achievement (introductory and advanced). For those interested in the advanced format, attendance of the introductory level is a prerequisite.

The time investment for the introductory level is 5 half-days for the virtual training. For the advanced level, in addition to these 5 half-days, there is a time (and travel) commitment to spend 5 days for in-person training at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue in Rueschlikon, Switzerland.
