Leading Swiss Re experts in the fields of pandemic modelling, infectious contagion and macroeconomics will analyse what we know and what we are learning about the crisis thus far; and what the implications are likely to be both for public health and for our subsequent economic recovery.
We will address the effects of the crisis on the economy and discuss the implications of economic and fiscal policy changes on large corporations; we will ask which industries have faced an existential or game-changing threat as a result of the crisis; we will elaborate measures large companies can take to mitigate damage; and we will suggest how large companies might be able to mitigate future pandemic risk.
Bringing together different industry partners and stakeholders into collaborative dialogue will be crucial if we are to find effective exit routes from the current crisis. In keeping with national guidelines from across the world, this talk will be held virtually, so that all parties can listen and contribute in a safe environment. We look forward to an expansive dialogue on this most pressing of global issues.
