Akira TOSE is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Engineering, Niigata University. His research focus is developing safety culture assessment methodology to support the industry in safety management.  Safety culture assessment developed by his team used in several major Japanese companies, and he provided several lectures and training related to industrial safety and management. He has served in his current role since February 2019.  He has an MA in System Engineering (2010) and a Ph.D. in System Design and Management (2016) from Keio University, Japan.
