Jayne Plunkett
CEO Reinsurance Asia, Swiss Re

Jayne Plunkett started her career at John Deere Insurance Company in 1992, where she held various positions in the Commercial Lines segment in Property and Casualty. In 1999 she joined GE Insurance Solutions, where she served as Insurance Pricing Team Leader, Deputy Chief Reserving Actuary, Head of Casualty Risk Management, and Head of Planning and Analysis.

Following the acquisition of GE Insurance Solutions by Swiss Re in 2006, Jayne Plunkett joined Swiss Re as Head of the Kansas City Hub for Property & Casualty. From 2008 to 2012 she worked in Asia as Head of Casualty Underwriting for the region. In 2013 she assumed the global position as Head Casualty Reinsurance, also managing the unit dealing with large and complex transactions for P&C Reinsurance. On 1 July 2016, Jayne Plunkett was appointed as Chief Executive Officer Reinsurance Asia, Regional President Asia and a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Jayne Plunkett is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Additionally, she was named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2010.

Jayne Plunkett was born in 1970 and is an American citizen.

Steven Hunter
Senior Financial Solutions Manager, Life & Health
Swiss Re Japan

Steven joined Swiss Re in January 2016 and heads up the Life & Health Financial Solutions team in Japan focusing on the implementation of tailored structured reinsurance solutions for Capital & Risk Management.

Before joining Swiss Re Japan he worked for 12 years across Europe at the direct insurer Aviva. At Aviva his varied career includes MCEV valuation in England, being Chief Actuary of Hungary, implementing a Shared Service centre in Poland and developing Economic Capital capabilities in Italy.

His final years being spent in London within the Group's Life Economic Capital division, where his responsibilities included Operational Risk Quantification, Group management of the Poland Life Economic Capital submission and Group Holding Company Economic Capital calibration
and calculation. His time culminating in Aviva attaining Solvency 2 Internal Model approval.

Steven is a British national, qualified as a UK actuary (FIA), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) and holds a BSc in Mathematics from Durham University. Steven is a fan of rugby union and is a father of two young children.

Tomoshiro Hamura
Senior Risk Manager, Life & Health, Group Risk Management
Swiss Re UK

Tomoshiro Hamura started his career at a Japanese major insurance Group in 2000, where he held various roles in Capital Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Accounting and Product Development.

In 2014 he joined Swiss Re as CRO Japan, responsible for developing risk governance, risk awareness and risk culture for both Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd. Japan Branch and Swiss Re International SE, Japan Branch.

On 1st Apr 2017, Tomoshiro joined the L&H Headquarters in London, where he is responsible for Life and Health Risk management, in particular by providing capital costing factors for each line of business, monitoring risk exposure developments, ensuring regular reporting of the risk landscape to a variety of stakeholders, and supporting initiatives to improve risk management frameworks.

Tomoshiro is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan (IAIJ). Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Tokyo and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He likes traveling and driving a car.

Blake Dimitrijevic
Head Balance Sheet Management Asia, Group Treasury
Swiss Re Hong Kong

Blake Dimitrijevic joined Swiss Re in 2006, with the acquisition of GE Insurance Solutions. In his current role Blake leads the Asia Treasury team, overseeing Capital and Liquidity Management, ALM, Cash Management and other treasury topics in the Asia region.

In prior roles, Blake was part of the Group Capital Management team that designed and implemented Swiss Re's Target Capital Structure and Risk Tolerance framework. He has worked on a wide variety of transactions including multiple large reinsurance transactions, M&A, liability management exercises and other dividend, capital & funding initiatives. Blake has extensive experience across multiple regulatory environments including both economic and statutory regimes, and has previously lived and worked in Australia, UK, Switzerland and now Hong Kong.

Blake is an Australian national, and a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA), an Alumni of the global Stars Synposia organization, and holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology. In his spare time, Blake is a keen sports fan, avid Western Bulldogs supporter, and father to two small children.
