Michaela rejoined Swiss Re in August 2023 as Market Head P&C and Key Account Manager for Globals in ANZ. Prior to this, she was Head of Client Management at Munich Re Australiasia and a key member of the P&C leadership team.
With more than 25 years' experience in the industry, Michaela has experience encompassing client management, operations, strategy, underwriting and IT. She first joined Swiss Re in 2019 as the Head of Strategy & Branch Operations covering both the P&C and L&H business, also sitting on the ANZ Reinsurance leadership team, and before that was Chief Operating Officer at ARPC from 2016 to 2019. Michaela has also held various roles over her almost 20 years in the Primary Insurance Market with both QBE and Zurich covering Underwriting, Strategy, Client development and IT.
She holds Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Senior Associate of the Insurance Institute.
