Lloyd is an insurance industry veteran, having spent the last 13 years at Swiss Re in various roles and markets including as head of Life and Health Client Markets, head of Products Origination and head of Claims for the Americas.
An actuary, Lloyd works out of the Fort Wayne Indiana office.
While at Swiss Re, his roles have included working with insurance start-ups in Africa focusing in particular on low-cost and innovative distribution models.
Before joining Swiss Re, he spent 15 years in the direct insurance market at Old Mutual, a pan-African investment, savings, insurance and banking group based in Cape Town, South Africa.
He is a graduate of the University of Cape Town, where he studied actuarial science.
