Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic disease characterised by inflammation and abnormal masses in various organs. Approximately 5% of sarcoidosis patients have cardiac involvement – manifesting as arrhythmias, heart failure and cardiomyopathy – all of which influence morbidity and mortality. In this paper, we examine new evidence on cardiac-related outcomes in sarcoidosis.
