Digitalisation of insurance: The way ahead

Tab navigation

Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented an unprecedented challenge, which has accelerated full-scale digitalisation on many fronts. The way insurance products are designed, sold, serviced as well as the usage of customer data are all undergoing transformation. Customer touchpoints are increasingly digital and personalization is now the new normal. While there is an explosion in the amount of data generated and captured by technology , Gartner reported last year that less than 10% of chief data officers are able to measure the financial value of their data assets.

  • What do we know of today's digital consumer and how can we embrace technology to provide a more personalised experience in insurance?
  • Is our industry ready for a completely digital ecosystem and are re/insurers able to fully discover the potential of data and AI 2.0?
  • How can digitalisation help deliver better value to our customers and help us build societal resilience?
