Jessie Guo is an Economist at Swiss Re Institute based in Hong Kong.
Jessie joined Swiss Re in May 2017. She provides analysis and insight on macroeconomic and re/insurance market trends in the Asia Pacific region. Her research specialisms include megatrends in emerging markets and climate economics. She is a co-author and contributor to sigma, Expertise publication and Economic insights research among others.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, Jessie was a business research analyst at JP Morgan, and a quantitative research analyst first at Ortus Capital Management and subsequently at Haitong Securities International, where she formulated quantitative investment strategies in equities, fixed income and FX.
Jessie holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Hong Kong and a BSc degree in International Economics from Zhejiang University in China. She is a CFA charterholder.
