Caroline Scherb started her career in 1990 at Ketchum, a leading global communications consultancy, where she was in charge of global, integrated campaigns positioning various international B-to-C brands.
From 1997 to 2010 she held international leadership positions at Ciba Inc., including Brand Management, Marketing, M&A Communications and executive positioning; in 2005 she was appointed Head of Global Group Communications. Following the acquisition by BASF in 2009, Caroline was instrumental in the integration of Ciba, leading respective Communications and Change Management programs.
Caroline Scherb joined Swiss Re in 2010 as Chief Communications Officer, being responsible for all external and internal Communications matters worldwide, incl. Branding, Media Relations, Corporate Reporting, Marketing Communications, Internal & Leadership Communications, Digital Media and Art & Cultural Engagement.
Caroline holds an Executive MSc. in Communications Management, University of Lugano and is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
