Kulli Tamm is an economist and CFA charterholder with research experience at the intersection of macroeconomics, re/insurance and financial markets. She has co-authored and presented a number of industry-leading Swiss Re sigma and expertise publications, distilling complex risk, finance and economic themes into clear and accessible output. As one of Swiss Re Institute's market experts for the US and Canada, she provides regular quantitative and qualitative insights, data analysis and forecasts for North American economies and insurance markets, supporting a myriad of corporate decisions. Together with the broader Institute team, she helps drive Swiss Re's reputation as a thought leader in the re/insurance industry and supports the company mission to "make the world more resilient".
Kulli has been with Swiss Re since 2011. She holds a master's degree from the University of Virginia, and an undergraduate degree from Colby College, both in economics. Prior to Swiss Re, she spent four years as an analyst at NERA Economic Consulting, supporting the Antitrust and Intellectual Property practices.
