Yommy manages R&D in life and health at Swiss Re. In her role, she focuses on better understanding of trends in population health, mortality and the impact of technology and medical advancements across the globe. Since joining Swiss Re Yommy has worked on various life and health projects, including modelling pandemic influenzas and infectious diseases, understanding the changes in the landscape of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in high growth markets such as Brazil and China, identifying emerging risks and trends to the insurance market. Moreover, in 2015, she joined Swiss Re's Behavioral Research Unit bringing insights from behavioral economics into the world of insurance to better comprehend the drivers of customer behavior. Recently, she acted as global portfolio champion to all individual life, group life, and longevity business for Group Underwriting.
She holds a Master of Statistics and a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering.
