Experts, visionaries, families, people from every walk of life and across generations came together to discuss ideas and solutions for the world's biggest challenges for our 150th anniversary in 2014. Food security, sustainable energy solutions, climate change and funding longer lives were key themes.
Risk Window
We asked researchers from The Gallup Organisation – Europe to canvass people in 19 markets across the globe, asking "What's on your mind?"
The result was Swiss Re's Risk Perception Survey and Risk Window, a unique insight into how everyday people, of different generations, see risk.
Around the world with Open Minds
Filmmaker Viviane Blumenschein also conducted close to 200 interviews and shot over 500 hours of footage as she followed the global dialogue from Switzerland to South Africa, from the United Kingdom to the United States and finally to China.
