United Nations Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals

Swiss Re is a signatory to the United Nation’s Global Compact and deeply committed to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal #5: "To achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls". At Swiss Re, promoting gender equality means, among other things, increasing the proportion of women in leadership positions – a strategic imperative for our business.

United Nations Standards of Conduct for Business against LGBTI discrimination

Swiss Re joined the UN Standards of Conduct for Business against LGBTI discrimination in November 2018, which reflects our commitment to creating an environment where everyone is included and able to bring their true selves to work.

UN Women's Empowerment Principles

Since 2012 Swiss Re is signatory to the UN Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). These principles offer guidance on how to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community.

The Global Business Collaboration for Better Workplace Mental Health
