Working together to successfully manage regulatory risk

The annual meetings of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and Institute of International Finance bring together public and private sector leaders to discuss issues of global concern.

Swiss Re is an active member in these organisations, which all play a key role in the insurance sector.

Together with other Swiss Re leaders, Nina Arquint, Head of Qualitative Risk Management, took part in the annual meetings hosted in Washington in October 2016. In the video, she highlights three current regulatory concerns: systemic risk in insurance, progress towards the Insurance Capital Standard and the development of a regulatory framework around digitalization. Nina also explains how Swiss Re is working together with regulators and policymakers to successfully manage regulatory risk.
