Creating the future, mapping our journey together: Les Rendez-vous de Septembre 2013

What will the future hold for our industry? Join us as we ask this question and celebrate 150 years of Swiss Re in Monte Carlo.

As our 150 Years Anniversary celebrations begin, we will use the opportunity to thank our business partners for a shared past and their continued loyalty. At the same time we want to start preparing for the challenges ahead. Under the theme "Creating the Future – Mapping our journey together" we invite our clients and other representatives of the re/insurance industry to join us in discussing what the future may hold.

Over a century of working together with our clients

Swiss Re has attended Les Rendez-vous de Septembre (RVS), the reinsurance industry's yearly gathering to discuss market events, since its start in 1957. Through that time there have been ups and downs but one thing has remained the same. Along with the whole industry we have helped economies and societies recover from catastrophes, whether natural or manmade.

As a result of these shared experiences we've learned a lot. That's why there are hundreds of conversations, meetings and events taking place with our clients every year. And at each one, knowledge is being exchanged, ideas are generated and solid relationships are built.

Listen to Group CEO Michel Liès discuss what Swiss Re has had to overcome over the last 150 years and what we have planned at Monte Carlo in the video below.
