Nanotechnology - small size, large impact?
Conference report Swiss Re Centre of Global Dialogue, 2005
Swiss Re’s first conference on nanotechnology aimed at enabling a transparent risk dialogue among parties interested in an open exchange of opinions and findings. John Coomber, former CEO, welcomed the audience by saying:
“[We] cannot provide any hard and fast answers to the many issues that will arise in connection with this topic. Ours is simply an attempt to bring decision makers together and offer a forum for expert exchange so that each of the stakeholders can derive benefit by … dovetailing their own interests into those of the other members of the risk community, …[since] none of us can afford NOT to care.”
