Learning from China's challenge
"Making sustainability and economic development work together - learning from China's challenge" was the theme for an international symposium organised by Swiss Re with support from the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) of the People's Republic of China.
One of the main goals of the summit, which brought together over 100 government representatives, politicians, academics,scientists and international business people, was to foster international exchange on the challenges of ensuring sustainable development, particularly in high-velocity economies such as China.
