Law, insurance and the Internet

Is the Internet really an unregulated realm where anything goes and no one can be sued? The answer is: no. Even so, companeis are often unaware of the risks they are exposed to on the Internet and of the ways and means to best protect themselves.

This focus report shows which legal parameters must be considered in conjunction with the Internet and how an enterprise with effective risk management can protect itself from net-associated dangers.

The study is based on a fictitious example of an enterprise “ECOM”, which offers it products and services via e-commerce.
