Michel M. Liès
Michel M. Liès became a member of the Executive Board in 1998 and was appointed Head of the Latin America division. In April 2000, he became Head of Europe division of the Property & Casualty Business Group. In September 2005 he assumed the position as Head of Client Markets Global Function.

Thomas Hess
Thomas Hess has been Global Head of Swiss Re Economic Research & Consulting and Editor of "sigma", Swiss Re's internationally renowned research series on the insurance industry, since 1994. He is responsible for the Economic Research & Consulting groups in Zurich, New York and Hong Kong. The work of the group is focused on analyzing the worldwide macro economic environment and capital markets as well as insurance and reinsurance markets worldwide, including the alternative risk transfer (ART) markets.
