Swiss Re's Latin America unit holds second annual client event in Miami

More than 35 people representing broker and global/international companies with a solid presence in the Latin American region participated in the second annual Swiss Re client event in Miami on May 7.

Organized by Swiss Re's Latin America unit, the gathering provided an opportunity for Swiss Re to exchange ideas as well as discuss the challenges and opportunities the region currently offers to insurers, reinsures and brokers.

This year's event featured Swiss Re America's Chief Operating Officer Patrick Mailloux and Cat Perils Head Andrew Castaldi. These two keynote speakers provided an overview of the market and discussed climate change and hurricane risk, respectively.
