Swiss Re Brazil celebrated its second Treaty Structuring and Wordings Seminar
Due to the importance of the Brazilian market opening, Swiss Re is committed to providing support, knowledge and expertise to this important market in Latin America.
Taking place from September 24 -26, the Treaty Structure and Wordings seminar was hosted by Swiss Re’s office in São Paulo, Brazil. This was the second of three seminars that are part of Swiss Re’s preparation initiative for the opening of the Brazilian market.
A total of 40 people representing 18 different local companies attended the event. The objective was to present conceptual and practical aspects of P&C reinsurance treaty structuring as well as the technical aspects associated with treaty wordings.
The seminar topics were presented by Alfredo Gomez and Pavel Huerta of the Latin American P&C Treaty Desk, with Client Manager Fabio Magalhaes hosting and moderating the event. The Swiss Re Academy also assisted with the lecture content, materials and logistics.
Evaluations received from the event participants indicate the seminar was a great success. Comments included: "The seminar was excellent. It exceeded my expectations", "Very positive way between practical exercises and theory".
