The mission of Finance is to finance the firm. As a corporate function, Finance is globally responsible for optimising the Group’s capital and carrier structure, tax, ratings, cash management and liquidity. It also responsible for financial accounting and reporting, target-setting and performance management for the Swiss Re Group and its legal entities.
