Our business is highly specialised and the training you receive is therefore thorough and intense. The graduates@swissre programme spends 18 months training you in all aspects of our business.
We offer you the opportunity to join the exciting world of a specialised financial services organisation. If you have just earned your degree and you have little or no work experience, we will recruit you for a position in one of our core business functions where a line manager will be appointed to be responsible for you.
The graduates@swissre programme mainly focus on technical training as our business is very specialised. During 18 months, you will receive on-the-job training in your respective positions as well as attend a high number of training days specially designed for the programme. Your work experience will dictate the overall number of training days you will have to attend.
The training consists of four training blocks, three of which are common and encompass the general minimum required business training for graduates combining general business learning modules and basic technical modules. The fourth training block is customised and focuses on your specific training needs. These are determined by your functional allocation as well as by personally identified development areas – it will be up to you and your line manager to decide which training modules will best help you advance your career.
The availability of graduate positions within each of our business functions depends on current regional needs and planned functional requirements. As a graduate, you will have your home base at one of our regional offices in either the Americas, Asia or Europe, depending on your work permit and your preference.
