How does Swiss Re ensure security on the Web?

To ensure reliable authentication, the login procedure is based on a strong three-factor authentication. Besides the user name, a user has to enter: the password chosen at registration & the number currently displayed on the SecurID token. Furthermore all data transferred between your browser and the application will take place via a 128-bit SSL-encrypted connection.

Why am I sometimes asked to log in, even though I have already successfully logged in?

If you haven't used the system for 30 minutes, your current session expires and you are asked to log in again. As long as the user does not take an extended break (30 minutes or more), he/she profits from single sign-on, retains his session and does not have to authenticate again. If the inactivity timeout kicks in, the user is presented with the login screen again upon his/her return. After correctly specifying the necessary values, the user can continue with his/her work exactly as he/she left off.
