Corporate Functions

Swiss Re’s corporate functions are efficient sources of common services to the business functions.

The corporate functions manage Swiss Re’s common resources including: capital, risk portfolio, brand reputation, information technology, human resources and skills.

The role of the corporate functions is to optimise the efficiency and transparency of processes and structures at the Group level. Various corporate functions also fulfil obligations to regulatory authorities and other stakeholders, as well as ensuring the protection of the company by establishing the corporate governance rules under which it operates.
