Founded in November 2000 by Swiss Re, a world leader in reinsurance, the Centre for Global Dialogue provides a forum to deal with global risk issues and to facilitate new insight into future risk markets.
Exploration, dialogue and learning
The Centre provides unique facilities for fostering dialogue. We address topics through a range of events and programmes.
Our international or regional conferences on global risk issues attract industry experts and risk analysts, business managers and scientists, politicians and policy makers as well as non-governmental organisations. The goal of these events is to gain better understanding, build stakeholder communities around topics and consider potential business solutions.
Actuarial, reinsurance and broader financial services themes are also addressed through business meetings hosted by Swiss Re for its clients and partners or staged by third parties.
Swiss Re is also committed to the promotion of learning and corporate values. A team of dedicated learning specialists continuously keeps managers and specialists prepared for new challenges.
Facilities and services
The Centre is open to not only Swiss Re, its clients and partners but also other interested parties. We have a team of professionals to support all aspects of an event or meeting. These can range from conference conception and design to handling logistics and guest services.
In addition to providing a range of event services, the Centre offers extensive, top class conference, hotel and catering facilities. Located just 7 kilometres from Swiss Re’s main offices in Zürich, the Centre provides a unique atmosphere to discuss business outside of the usual office environment.
