90 years of Bayerische Rück - In the middle of 2001, Bayerische Rück AG will start operating under the name of Swiss Re. The following historical overview is designed to give the Swiss Re family a better idea of its new core member, bearing in mind the words of Friedensreich Hundertwasser: “Those who fail to honour the past lose the future. Those who destroy their roots cannot grow.” And, of course, Bayerische Rück is determined to grow under new Swiss Re identity!
