Benjamin Meuli

Benjamin Meuli joined Swiss Re in April 2004 as Chief Investment Officer and Member of the Executive Board.

Benjamin Meuli, a UK citizen born in 1956, received an M.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in 1977 and an MSc. in Agricultural Economics in 1978, both from Worcester College, Oxford University. He started his professional career at JP Morgan, where he held a number of senior positions during his 20-year career with the firm. He was managing director of JP Morgan when he left in 1998.

He was also managing director at Morgan Stanley's Financial Institutions Group from 1998 until 2004, where his primary responsibility was for investment banking and strategic investment products for large multinational insurance groups.

Benjamin Meuli is married with four children.
