Children’s University, Zurich: building knowledge

The Children’s University, Zurich (Kinder-Universität Zürich, KU ZH) aims to encourage and satisfy the innate curiosity of children. With this in mind, the KU ZH organises lectures for around 500 children and various laboratory courses for about 20 children (per course) in the spring as well as in the autumn. Experts from a broad range of subjects and interdisciplinary fields respond to the children’s questions and discuss topics of interest.

The KU ZH has been open for elementary school children (classes 3 – 6) since the spring term of 2004. In the spring term of 2008 children will be invited to attend five laboratory courses and a cycle of six lectures.
