Swiss Re names Debra Hall Vice President and Regulatory Counsel, Government Relations and Public Policy

Swiss Re has named Debra H. Hall to the newly-created position of Vice President and Regulatory Counsel, Government Relations and Public Policy. Hall, who is responsible for working with government and industry officials on various issues impacting the property & casualty and life & health businesses, will report to Cosette R. Simon, Swiss Re's Senior Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy.

"Debra has exhibited leadership throughout her career and brings to Swiss Re a deep understanding of the regulatory arena both in the US and around the globe," said Simon. "Her extensive knowledge and expertise will be beneficial to Swiss Re as we work with policymakers on issues of local, national and international importance."
Prior to joining Swiss Re, Hall was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Reinsurance Association of America, Washington, D.C., for the past 14 years.
