On 28 November 2005, following the signing of the Transaction Agreement of 18 November 2005 regarding the acquisition of GE Insurance Solutions, Swiss Reinsurance Company made a group notification by a group ("Group") consisting of Swiss Reinsurance Company ("Swiss Re") and its subsidiaries and General Electric Company, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA, General Electric Capital Services, Inc., Stamford, Connecticut, USA, General Electric Capital Corporation, Stamford, Connecticut, USA and GE Asset Management Incorporated, Stamford, Connecticut, USA.
On behalf of the Group we hereby inform you that General Electric Capital Corporation is no longer a shareholder of Swiss Re with effect as of 21 June, 2006. The modified composition of the Group is as follows: Swiss Reinsurance Company, Mythenquai 50/60, 8022 Zurich and its subsidiaries; General Electric Company, 3135 Eastern Turnpike, Fairfield, Connecticut 06927, USA; General Electric Capital Services, Inc., 260 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, Connecticut 06927, USA; and GE Asset Management Incorporated, 260 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, Connecticut 06927, USA.
No notification threshold percentage has been reached, exceeded or fallen below as a result of the change in the composition of the Group.
