Maurizio Valsecchi appointed Market Executive and Managing Director for Swiss Re in Italy.
The Board of Directors of Swiss Re has approved the appointment of Maurizio Valsecchi as Market Executive and Managing Director for Swiss Re in Italy. Mr. Valsecchi will take on the role of business development in Italy, reporting to Swiss Re’s Head of Client Markets Europe, Jean-Jacques Henchoz.
Maurizio Valsecchi joins the Swiss Re Group with considerable experience in the insurance field and will be responsible for relations with Italian clients and business growth in the Italian market.
He studied for a degree in engineering at Milan University and has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Management School of Bocconi University. He has long experience of providing consultancy services to financial institutions gained through his work with the likes of McKinsey, Value Partners and, in recent years, as Managing Director of Towers Perrin – Tillinghast (now merged as Towers Watson).
