Kurt Karl, Swiss Re's Chief Economist, will provide an overview of the major economic and insurance developments in 2013 and a provide a glimpse into the issues influencing the insurance industry in 2014.
This will be followed by an in-depth look at one the hot topics for 2013 - the role of alternative capital in the reinsurance industry. Martin Bisping, Swiss Re's Head of Non-Life Risk Transfer, will look at the role of alternative capital, innovations in Insurance-Linked Securites (ILS) and the impact on the insurance industry going forward.
