Swiss Re buildings
Swiss Re's restaurant for staff and guests was completed in 1957 according to plans drawn up by Hans Hoffman, the chief architect of the Swiss National Exibition of 1939.
Swiss Re’s Kansas City Metcalf building sits on 3.5 acres in Overland Park, Kansas. The building originally opened in 1980 and was expanded 10 years later with the addition of a south wing. The building is often noted for its five story tropical atrium, which contains living plants and trees, a fountain and waterfall.
