Corporate Solutions participates at 2015 DVS Symposium

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions participated for the seventh consecutive year at the Deutsche Versicherungs-Schutzverband (DVS) Symposium in Munich, Germany from 9 to 11 September. DVS is the most significant annual meeting of the German commercial insurance market and provides risk managers and other market participants a platform for specialist exchange, dialogue and networking.

Nineteen experts from Corporate Solutions attended the symposium which attracted over 600 delegates. Tony Buckle, Head Europe, Middle East & Africa and Kuno Linder, Country Manager Germany, led the Corporate Solutions delegation at the three-day gathering.

"The DVS symposium is an excellent and efficient platform to market our capabilities and show our commitment to the German market," said Kuno. "We're focusing on our primary lead initiative and stronger regionalization, coming closer to our clients. We have over 70 highly motivated experts including client managers, underwriters, claims handlers and finance experts operating from Munich and Frankfurt, continuously working to expand our footprint in Germany," he added.

The team also used the event as a platform to meet with the media and several interviews took place with leading insurance publications. Fredi Lienhardt, Vice President – Big Data and Smart Analytics Center, participated in the lively panel discussion on "Big Data."
