Experts from Swiss Re's Insurance & Specialty team joined approximately 1,000 risk managers, brokers, insurers and media at the 36th Annual Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Canada Conference held in Edmonton, Alberta on September 26-29. Hosted by the Alberta Chapter of RIMS, this year's event offered attendees more than 20 educational sessions and approximately 75 trade show exhibitions to visit.

During the four-day conference, the Swiss Re team leveraged the trade show exhibition and dozens of face-to-face client meetings to showcase the company's expertise and broad insurance offerings available to clients and brokers in Canada.

In addition to featuring a highly-visited trade show booth, Swiss Re hosted a private dinner for strategic Canadian clients and brokers on the opening night of the conference at Madison's Grill Restaurant at Union Bank Inn.
