September 2011 webinar: Climate change - implications on liability insurance
There is growing evidence that the global climate is warning, and that carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from human activity are influencing this process. A number of significant claims have already been brought against public authorities, large oil companies, power plants or automobile manufacturers accused of contributing to the effects of global warming and causing loss as a result of a weather event (e.g. hurricane or flood) . The Webinar will look at the current climate change litigation as well as at the impact on liability insurance and will help to manage future climate change related liability exposures.
This webinar is targeted at intermediate-level insurance professionals involved in liability underwriting, claims and risk management.
