July 2011 webinar: Solvency II
This webinar provides an overview on the key elements of the new EU regulatory framework- Solvency II and what this will mean for insurers here in Asia-Pacific.
You will learn more about an economic balance sheet under Solvency II and the impacts of reinsurance on that balance sheet, including the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) and the Minimum Capital Requirement (MCR).
This session will also give you a flavour of the ongoing political process around this new framework, and update you on the latest developments on the EU Standard Formula based on the results of the fifth quantitative impact study (QIS5).
By using an example, we elaborate on capital drivers under Solvency II and examine the most efficient reinsurance solutions linked to these drivers thus highlighting the value proposition of specific reinsurance products under Solvency II.
This webinar is targeted at insurance professionals who have an interest in the new EU regulatory framework.
