Welcome to Junior Power

Get off to a successful start in the world of work with Junior Power, Swiss Re's training initiative.

Our apprentices and trainees safeguard our knowledge for the future. They are our up-and-coming talent, prospective employees and maybe even future members of management.

At Swiss Re Zurich and Munich, we are currently training around 100 apprentices and trainees in a range of roles.

Our apprentices and trainees learn their chosen profession in an international environment and are instructed by experienced specialists coming from a variety of backgrounds. We help them master the challenges of this demanding working environment by involving them in our day-to-day work and providing them with targeted training and competent management and guidance.

As Swiss Re operates at the global level, the Group's language is English. It is therefore very important that our apprentices are ready and willing to actively use and improve their English skills.

Taster courses and information events

We offer taster courses lasting three to five days for catering and hospitality apprenticeships (chef, qualified waiter/waitress, hotel clerk). Please send us a brief application.

For these apprenticeships: Chef, Businessman/-woman, IT System and Application engineer and Media Specialist, we offer information afternoons between May and July. The next information afternoon takes place on 12 July 2017. You can register here:
