Get off to a successful start in the world of work with Junior Power, Swiss Re's training initiative! Our apprentices and trainees safeguard our knowledge for the future – they are our talented young staff members, our prospective employees and maybe even our future members of management.
At Swiss Re's locations in Zurich and Munich, we currently have around 100 apprentices and trainees learning a range of vocations, ie chef, hotel housekeeper, qualified waiter/waitress, system engineer, mediamatics specialist, businesswoman/-man, building maintenance specialist and information and documentation specialist. Last but not least, there are our HMS Plus and PWA trainees, as well as the dual course of study in Munich leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Insurance or Event Management.
Our apprentices and trainees learn their chosen profession in an international environment and are instructed by experienced specialists coming from a variety of backgrounds. We do our best to help them master the challenges of this demanding working environment by involving them in our day-to-day work and providing them with targeted training and competent management and guidance.
