Swiss Re Wins Employer of the year, Life reinsurer and General reinsurer of the year awards at the AIIA 2014

"We were nominated for an unprecedented three awards this year and we won three - it's a fantastic achievement. A big thanks to our distinguished judges for giving us this fabulous recognition for our work in Asia" said Moses Ojeisekhoba, CEO Reinsurance Asia, after the 18th Asia Insurance Industry Awards ceremony held in Taipei on 2 November 2014.

Last year we won the Life & Health and General Reinsurance honours for establishing a dedicated Life & Health Client Management function and leading the way in sharing knowledge and working with clients to develop innovative products, enhancing Nat Cat tools and claims management, and partnering with governments for pre-disaster financing. This year we repeated these wins because we were able to give concrete examples of how we have worked together with our business partners to solve complex needs. In addition we picked up the new Employer of the year award – recognition that we are going in the right direction in attracting and developing the people that are going to help Swiss Re and its clients achieve their objectives.

"I want to thank all the Swiss Re team in Asia for their hard work and dedication . These awards are won  because of them and I'm delighted that their hard work has been recognized," said Moses. "There is much more to do in working with our clients on the significant protection gaps across Asia and we are committed to putting our global expertise to use to support the sustainable growth of the insurance market."

Swiss Re also sponsored the Asia Corporate Social Responsibility Award. Read the full story of the Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2014.
