We’ve been listening to our clients and working hard to meet their needs in a rapidly changing world. The latest NMG study is evidence that we’re making a difference.
Nearly 500 risk professionals from 278 insurers participated in the annual Treaty study, which names the top reinsurers for driving performance and building effective partnerships. The results are clear: Swiss Re is the #1 P&C treaty reinsurer in the US and Canada based on the NMG Business Capability Index and also highly ranked in the Facultative and Broker markets.
Everyone needs a “go-to” partner, and more cedents say Swiss Re is their most used reinsurer. Study respondents also named Swiss Re as the one reinsurer they would be most likely to use to lead their program.
In today’s competitive environment, being good isn’t enough. A reinsurer should help improve a client’s performance, and it takes special skills and expertise to add value in a meaningful way. Swiss Re garnered top honors for Thought Leadership, Innovation Capabilities, Underwriting Capabilities, Specialist Line of Business Underwriters, Actuarial Capabilities and Relationship Management.
The Ability to Get More
When insurers look for help they consider things like financial security, partnership and price. But ultimately, the most important factor is value. And that’s where Swiss Re excels. More respondents named Swiss Re as their #1 choice for value when it comes to the return cedents get from risk transfer, balance sheet and capital solutions.
